Abstract in English:
The final report of the “Coworking 66” project summarizes insights and outcomes from a three-year pilot initiative exploring coworking in rural areas as a driver for structural change and community development. At six sites in Saxony, diverse formats and collaborations were tested to promote new work models, social participation, and regional value creation. The evaluation indicates that coworking spaces can foster not only economic but also social innovation when rooted in local contexts and shaped through participatory approaches.

Der Abschlussbericht des Projekts “Coworking 66” fasst die Erfahrungen und Ergebnisse eines dreijährigen Modellvorhabens zusammen, das Coworking im ländlichen Raum als Motor für strukturellen Wandel und Gemeinschaftsbildung untersuchte. An sechs Standorten in Sachsen wurden vielfältige Formate und Kooperationen erprobt, um neue Arbeitsformen, soziale Teilhabe und regionale Wertschöpfung zu fördern. Die Evaluation zeigt, dass Coworking-Orte nicht nur wirtschaftliche, sondern auch soziale Innovationen anstoßen können, wenn sie lokal verankert und partizipativ gestaltet sind.
