Abstract in English:
The article discusses the most popular point of view on coworking as a new form of collaboration in which independent participants proceed their activity in common open space. This phenomenon is widespread in the foreign states, and nowadays it is included in Russian practice. Coworking is analyzed as a unique field of research for scientists from different branches of scientific knowledge. At first glance, the interpretation of the essence of this phenomenon is not problematic. However, a more detailed dive into the topic raised many questions. For example, is it possible to define coworking as a new social community that has its special identity? Can we interpret coworking as a new form of social interaction or is it just a way of organizing work? What is the space of coworking and what are its boundaries? The author of the article raises questions about the methodological aspects of the study of the essence of this social phenomenon and the problems of definition of its borders. A part of the article describes the characteristics of coworking space as the social and material (space of object). Through the prism of the social topology of John Law, coworking is interpreted as topologically multiple objects, representing a network of social and object relations.

В статье рассматривается коворкинг как новое социальное явление, которое чаще всего интерпретируется как особая форма совместной работы, при которой участники, оставаясь независимыми друг от друга, используют для своей деятельности общее пространство. Это явление получило широкое распространение в западных странах и активно внедряется в российскую практику. Коворкинг анализируется как актуальное поле исследования для ученых различных отраслей научного знания. В статье ставятся вопросы о методологических аспектах исследования сущности данного социального феномена и проблемах определения его границ. Интерпретация понятия осуществляется через концепт пространства. В рамках статьи дается характеристика коворкинга как пространства социального и материального (объектного). Через призму социальной топологии Джона Ло коворкинг интерпретируется как топологически множественный объект, представляющий из себя сеть социально-объектных отношений.
