Terms and Conditions for Coworking Library Meets RGCS

A Collective Challenge for more Inclusion, Diversity and Equality 

General information on the Challenge

This is a collective project by the non-profit project “Coworking Library” – a project by the Stichting European Coworking Assembly

The European Coworking Assembly is a Dutch foundation registered with the Kamer van Koophandel Netherlands under the name Stichting European Coworking Assembly, number 73105058 with its address at: Zandheuvel 52 B, 4901HW, Oosterhout, the Netherlands.

The competition is open to anybody aged 18 years or over except the three co-founders of the Coworking Library or anybody who is in charge of judging the competition.

There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition.

By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.

Starting date for entries is Dec 15 2020, 0:00 CET. Closing date for entries will be Dec 17 2020, 24:00 CET. After this date the no further entries to the competition will be permitted.

No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.

The Coworking Library also reserves the right to cancel the competition if circumstances arise outside of its control.

The rules of the competition and how to enter are as follows:

Registration

In order to take part in the competition you must join the Coworking Library discord Server by filling out this form [link to sign up form] and you must register on coworkinglibrary.com (see below) with a valid email address. 

Submission of entries within the challenge

All submissions must be made through this form: https://coworkinglibrary.com/submit-a-publication/ 

You need to register on coworkinglibrary.com and make sure that your team’s name is filled out when entering a submission. Otherwise the entry will not be registered under your teams’ name. If you feel you made a mistake, let Johanna know via discord. 

You can submit multiple submissions. 

In case of multiple contributions of the same entry we will count the first one that has been entered in the database. The submission form is set up to indicate if a URL has been entered already once you fill it in.

Prizes 

Prizes are subject to change. Prizes are announced on coworkinglibrary.com/challenge

The Coworking Library is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition.

The winner will be notified by email and a message on the Discord Server within 14 days of the closing date as well as in the winner announcement on Monday, 21 Dec 2 pm CET. 

If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 14 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.

Teams 

Teams can consist of up to 5 people. If a team is made up of more than 5 people the team will be disqualified.

Judgement of entries 

The jury will decide if an entry counts as a valid entry. These fields are mandatory and have to be filled out with valid information in the submission form: 

  • Author(s) Full Names
  • Publication Title  
  • Publication Year 
  • Where can we find the publication online? (public link to publication, original upload, e.g. no uploads on ResearchGate and other platforms)
  • Open access: yes/no
  • Abstract in English (If there is none, please provide one by translating the most relevant information)
  • Publication Language 
  • Keywords (Enter 3 in English and 3 in the original language.)
  • Publication Language 
  • Country of Publication 

You may enter the following publications that have a focus on coworking, collaborative (work) spaces or coliving: Books, Chapters in books, papers, conference papers, open data, data/statistics, Dissertations, MA Thesis projects.

You may not enter the following publications: blog posts or (online) articles, BA Thesis, coworking maps and directories, links to websites with numerous resources.

Each entry will be reviewed before it will be published in the Coworking Library database.

Winners will be chosen from all entries that have been received and verified by the jury and or its agents by counting the most team submissions. Each entry counts as one point. Entries in the prize categories count double points (two points each).

Jury

A Jury will decide on the final winners in each category. Category and prizes are stated on coworkinglibrary.com. 

The Coworking Library‘s decision as to those able to take part and selection of winners is final. No correspondence relating to the competition will be entered into.

Fraud and Maluse 

In case of fraud and maluse of the submission form or any other services or tools used within the competition, the responsible person will be banned and disqualified by our administrators from all tools and services.

Spam

If you use our community (the Coworking Library server, our virtual sessions on Zoom or any other service we use within the challenge) for spamming – sending inappropriate messages that are clearly off-topic – you will be removed from those groups without warning by our administrators.

Data Protection

By taking part in the competition as well as submitting publications to the Coworking Library, the participant confirms that they have read the Privacy Policy and agree to the terms it contains.

The winner agrees to the use of his/her name and image in any publicity material, as well as their entry. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.
